Toledo Photographers – ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Toledo Photographers – ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

I was challenged by my former employee Lindsie, just joking, she still works for me, to take the ALS ice bucket challenge. I challenge all of my Toledo cohorts in crime – Toledo photographers – to do the same and everybody to give at least one hour of your time to the charity of your choice during the next year.

*Kurt donates somewhere between 200 and 300 hours of charity work every year. Some of the charities he works with are: The American Red Cross of Northwest Ohio, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio, Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio, American Heart Association of Dayton, Gliding Stars of Toledo and Findlay, The American Cancer Society, and Sal’s Pals, along with countless other donations of time and photography and photo booth services.

While the goal of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is to bring awareness and monetary donations for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, there are so many other charities that also need funding and volunteers. Even if you are not a photographer, Kurt is also challenging you to make a difference. Donate one hour of your time to your favorite cause, or give them what you can financially. Together, we can all make a difference and the world a better place!
