Joeline and Tom’s Wedding by Toledo Photographer Kurt Nielsen Photography

Joeline and Tom were married on September 3, 2011 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Ida, MI.  When I got to the church, I went in to say hi to the bride and groom while they were getting ready for their big day.
While the bride was getting dressed, I took the groom and his groomsmen and family into the sanctuary for some of the formal pre-wedding portraits.
Then it was back to check on the bride, and she was having a great time getting ready!
Finally the girls were ready and it was time for their pre-bridal photos.
Before we knew it, it was time for the wedding ceremony to begin.
After the ceremony, the guests were given bubbles to blow as the bride and groom exited the church.
The bride and groom made a quick exit to their antique getaway car.
But alas, they couldn’t leave because they had to come back in to sign their marriage certificate and take more formal wedding party and family photographs.
It was then time to head to Dundee, MI on the River Raisin near the Old Mill for some candid and  fun photos and more formal portraits with the River as a beautiful backdrop.
Everyone had a great time playing on the playground!

Of course, after they climbed up to the top of the slide, they had to come down somehow!
Finally it was time to head to Dusseau’s Reception Center in Temperance, where the guests were already enjoying my Kurt’s Kustom Keepsakes green screen photo booth during the cocktail hour.
When the bride and groom arrived, we went right into the wedding toasts from the maid of honor and best man.  Then dinner was served, the bride and groom mingled with their guests while they were finishing their dinners, then they cut their wedding cake. After the newlyweds cleaned off the black and blue icing from their cake, it was time for the dancing to begin.
The last wedding formality of the evening was the bridal bouquet toss and the garter toss.
Then it was finally time for the bride and groom to let loose with more dancing, including the popular dollar dance, and them finally being able to get into the photo booth fun.
The DJ from Class Act did a great job keeping the party going, but it was finally time for him to call it a night and say good bye.
Congratulations Tom and Joeline from Kurt Nielsen Photography!

Sarah and Ryan by Toledo Wedding Photographer Kurt Nielsen Photography

Sarah and Ryan were married on March 27, 2010 at Mayfair Plymouth Church in Toledo in a beautiful ceremony!

Of course, the bride was nervous before the ceremony and needed a little something to calm her nerves!

And the groom got quite emotional when he saw the bride walking down the aisle!

All in all, it was a great ceremony and the bridal party was awesome!

The Doves from Doves of Love didn’t quite want to cooperate…they tried to fly back into the church!

After all of the formal wedding pictures were taken, everyone piled into the Party Bus they rented from Limo Toledo…

and we headed to downtown Toledo.   The first stop was The Toledo Museum of Art.

Then we headed to the Reflecting Pond (which wasn’t exactly filled, but made for some nice pictures anyway).

Then the wedding party headed to The Easy Street Cafe for some snacks and a drink, with a quick stop at the local fire station for more pictures.

Then it was back in the limo and off to the reception at Dusseau’s Reception Center in Ida, Michigan where everyone danced the night away to Josh Bollin’s Super Sounds DJs.

We even had Kurt’s Kustom Keepsakes green screen fun at the reception!

But the night didn’t end there!  Everyone piled back into the party bus and headed back to Toledo and the Bier Stube where the wedding party had to sing Bon Jovi for their Karaoke song!  Bride’s choice!

This was a great wedding for a great couple!  Sarah and Ryan, may you enjoy many, many years of wedded bliss!  (Sorry about having to choose from over 1450 pictures! but it was a fun night!)
