{"id":1904,"date":"2011-11-02T14:42:51","date_gmt":"2011-11-02T18:42:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kurtnphoto.com\/?p=1904"},"modified":"2019-01-25T18:29:33","modified_gmt":"2019-01-25T23:29:33","slug":"joeline-and-toms-wedding-by-toledo-photographer-kurt-nielsen-photography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kurtnphoto.com\/wedding-blog\/joeline-and-toms-wedding-by-toledo-photographer-kurt-nielsen-photography\/","title":{"rendered":"Joeline and Tom&#8217;s Wedding by Toledo Photographer Kurt Nielsen Photography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Joeline and Tom were married on September 3, 2011 at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.princeofpeaceida.org\/\">Prince of Peace Lutheran Church<\/a> in Ida, MI.\u00a0 When I got to the church, I went in to say hi to the bride and groom while they were getting ready for their big day.<br \/>\nWhile the bride was getting dressed, I took the groom and his groomsmen and family into the sanctuary for some of the formal pre-wedding portraits.<br \/>\nThen it was back to check on the bride, and she was having a great time getting ready!<br \/>\nFinally the girls were ready and it was time for their pre-bridal photos.<br \/>\nBefore we knew it, it was time for the wedding ceremony to begin.<br \/>\nAfter the ceremony, the guests were given bubbles to blow as the bride and groom exited the church.<br \/>\nThe bride and groom made a quick exit to their antique getaway car.<br \/>\nBut alas, they couldn&#8217;t leave because they had to come back in to sign their marriage certificate and take more formal wedding party and family photographs.<br \/>\nIt was then time to head to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dundeevillage.net\/\">Dundee, MI<\/a> on the River Raisin near the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dundeeoldmill.com\/index.htm\">Old Mill<\/a> for some candid and\u00a0 fun photos and more formal portraits with the River as a beautiful backdrop.<br \/>\nEveryone had a great time playing on the playground!<\/p>\n<p>Of course, after they climbed up to the top of the slide, they had to come down somehow!<br \/>\nFinally it was time to head to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dusseaus.com\/\">Dusseau&#8217;s Reception Center<\/a> in Temperance, where the guests were already enjoying my <a href=\"http:\/\/photo-booth.kurtnphoto.com\/green-screen.asp \" class=\"broken_link\">Kurt&#8217;s Kustom Keepsakes<\/a> green screen photo booth during the cocktail hour.<br \/>\nWhen the bride and groom arrived, we went right into the wedding toasts from the maid of honor and best man.\u00a0 Then dinner was served, the bride and groom mingled with their guests while they were finishing their dinners, then they cut their wedding cake. After the newlyweds cleaned off the black and blue icing from their cake, it was time for the dancing to begin.<br \/>\nThe last wedding formality of the evening was the bridal bouquet toss and the garter toss.<br \/>\nThen it was finally time for the bride and groom to let loose with more dancing, including the popular dollar dance, and them finally being able to get into the photo booth fun.<br \/>\nThe DJ from Class Act did a great job keeping the party going, but it was finally time for him to call it a night and say good bye.<br \/>\nCongratulations Tom and Joeline from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kurtnphoto.com\/Weddings.asp\">Kurt Nielsen Photography<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joeline and Tom were married on September 3, 2011 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Ida, MI.\u00a0 When I got to the church, I went in to say hi to the bride and groom while they were getting ready for their big day.
