Whether you are having a family reunion, holiday party or just getting the whole family together at your home or lake house, that's also a great time to do family portraits with your entire extended family.
I will take photos of everyone together and then break them down to each individual family that wants portraits. We can also take siblings photos, cousins photos, and photos with the grandparents with their grandchildren. However you want the groups to be, we can do them. I charge an hourly rate and we can usually get these done within an hour and a half to two hours, depending on the size of your family and how many combinations that you would want.
Prints and digital images can be purchased by each individual family, or you can make one large order for the whole family. It's up to you how it is done. We can go to someone's home, cottage, favorite social club, family farm or park of your choice. Travel fees may apply. Kurt Nielsen Photography is not your average portrait studio. His studio is located in a "warehouse" type building behind ProMedica Health and Wellness Center on Monroe Street. This allows Kurt the room needed for his many sets and backgrounds needed for large families or groups. Kurt also goes on-location for some of his photo sessions. His favorite place to go is Wildwood Metro Park. Every year, Kurt also allows for at least one "Portraits in the Park" photo session for fall family photos at Wildwood MetroPark. Of course, he is also willing to go there at any time. He can even come to your home and do your session there. These are not the only places Kurt will go for a client. If you have a different place that you would like Kurt to photograph you or your family, just let Kurt know. His motto is "have camera, will travel."

I do everything by appointment only, so even though these are my posted hours, please call in advance to be sure someone is actually in the office when you get there because I may be in a shoot or out on location.
