This great event is from 1pm-10pm and features local entertainers and vendors. The event is being hosted by the City of Toledo and will raise funds for Local, National and International American Red Cross Disaster Relief Services. The cost at the door is just $20 and discount tickets are available for $15 until September 17, 2011 at these participating Kroger stores: Woodville Rd., Glendale Ave., Monroe St., Carronade Dr., Jackman Rd., and Spring Meadows.

Do you know when your school's yearbook deadline is? Most school's have their deadline for submitting your senior photo in October or early November of your senior year. That is why high school seniors should get their senior pictures taken during the summer. You need to have your senior portrait packages ordered at least two weeks prior to your yearbook deadline in order to guarantee your picture is in time to make the cutoff date. Please also remember, you may not be the only one who is putting off getting your senior pictures taken. Once school begins, there will be less appointment times available, not just because of school schedules, but also because of changes in available daylight. This is why it is a good idea to schedule your appointment time far enough in advance to ensure your senior photo will be included in your yearbook.
Did you also know that just because your high school designates a photographer to take the yearbook photo that you do not need to purchase your senior photos from that photographer? Yes, you have to go to them for the yearbook picture, but you can go anywhere you want to have your portraits taken that you want to buy. A lot of students don't want to get their portraits taken too early because they do change in appearance a lot during their senior year of high school. However, what you probably don't know is that students come in to have their photos taken throughout the year! I have several seniors every year come back for more than one portrait session.
Your senior photos should be a representation of your personality. I do not limit what you bring in like some of the other portrait studios. Bring in what ever you want, or whomever you want. Saturday, August 20, 2011 is our annual Day at the Bay Family Photo Shoot at Maumee Bay State Park. The special on-location session fee is only $59.95 for a one hour portrait session. At this time, all of our appointments are completely booked, but we are still taking names for our waiting list. I am pleased to announce that WeddingWire.com has given me their WeddingWire Rated award for 2011, my second year on the site, and second year rated! This 5th annual award recognized wedding professionals for their excellence as rated by past customers of each vendor. WeddingWire.com is the largest website for wedding reviews. I currently have 12 reviews on the site. WeddingWire's sister sites include ProjectWedding and Martha Stewart Weddings where these reviews can also be found.
Reviews of vendor services help other brides "research" before hiring their wedding professionals. It is so important for brides, who will be spending thousands of dollars on their weddings, to know what wedding professionals are really like. Previous brides can share their experiences on sites like WeddingWire The Knot and it's sister sites, Toledo.Weddings.com and WeddingChannel.com which will in turn help brides do their homework on the vendors they want to hire, and it also helps us vendors get found by potential brides. At the end of the year, WeddingWire and The Knot also give out their "Best of" awards for local vendors. These awards are also based on reviews and ratings of vendors like myself.
If I have photographed your wedding day, please feel free to write a review of my services. It doesn't matter how recent, or long ago, if you were the bride, groom, or parent of the newlyweds, you can still write a review. Plus you can review your other vendors as well to help them get found, and to tell brides what you really think about their services.
