I am very honored to have been named the "Official Photographer" for the 2nd Annual USJA & USJF Junior National Championships hosted by Judan Judo Toledo held at Owens Community College on July 2 and 3, 2011. Anyone wishing to purchase these photos may do so directly from my Client Viewing page. If your child's photo was taken on Saturday, July 2, 2011, your event ID and Password is judosaturday (all lower case and no spaces). For those taken on Sunday, July 3, 2011, your event code and password is judosunday (all lower case and no spaces). You will have to search through the pictures to identify your child. They are in order as they were taken, not according to weight class or any other identifying order. The images that you order online will be mailed to you directly from my print lab and you will be subject to their shipping and handling fees and taxes. For those of you that have already ordered and paid for your pictures, you can expect to receive them in the mail from me around the beginning of next week (July 18, 2011), depending on the mail service. You will also be able to order more online if you so desire. Thank you so much for your patience and business.

During the month of July, we are offering all area High School Seniors one-half off of their Senior Portrait Session Fees!

Do you know when your school's yearbook deadline is? Most school's have their deadline for submitting your senior photo in October or early November of your senior year. That is why high school seniors need to get their senior pictures taken in the summer. Did you also know that just because your high school designates a photographer to take the yearbook photo that you do not need to purchase your senior photos from that photographer? Yes, you have to go to them for the yearbook picture, but you can go anywhere you want to have your portraits taken that you want to buy. A lot of students don't want to get their portraits taken too early because they do change in appearance a lot during their senior year of high school. However, what you probably don't know is that students come in to have their photos taken throughout the year! I have several seniors every year come back for more than one portrait session.
Your senior photos should be a representation of your personality. I do not limit what you bring in like some of the other portrait studios. Bring in what ever you want, or whomever you want. For more information about what happens during your senior portrait session, check out my senior blog What to Expect for your Senior Portraits
Have your pet's portrait taken and help the Toledo Area Humane Society at the same time. Schedule any photographic session with your pet and receive half off of the session fees. Plus, 5% of your purchase will be donated to the Toledo Area Humane Society! Sorry, this cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.
Saturday, August 20, 2011 is our annual Day at the Bay Family Photo Shoot at Maumee Bay State Park. The special on-location session fee is only $59.95 for a one hour portrait session. Call early to schedule as spaces are limited and are filling up fast!
Looking for fun ways to keep your guests entertained at your wedding, graduation party, fundraiser or other event? Have you checked out my Green Screen Photo Booth? Kurt's Kustom Keepsakes is an open air photo booth that uses digital technology similar to that which the weather forecasters use on TV. You choose the background(s) before your event, and at your event, we take pictures of your guests in front of a green screen. Then, with Hollywood style magic, we create an image of your guests in the background picture you chose. This is a fun and exciting way for your guests to enjoy your gathering. Check out my Kurt's Kustom Keepsakes website for more information, images from past events and pricing details.

I am pleased to have been named runner-up in the Toledo Area Parent's Family Favorites 2010 for Kid's Photographer. This is a great honor and I truly appreciate everyone that voted for me!
I am pleased to announce that WeddingWire.com has given me their WeddingWire Rated award for 2011, my second year on the site, and second year rated! This 5th annual award recognized wedding professionals for their excellence as rated by past customers of each vendor. WeddingWire.com is the largest website for wedding reviews. I currently have 12 reviews on the site. WeddingWire's sister sites include ProjectWedding and Martha Stewart Weddings where these reviews can also be found.
Reviews of vendor services help other brides "research" before hiring their wedding professionals. It is so important for brides, who will be spending thousands of dollars on their weddings, to know what wedding professionals are really like. Previous brides can share their experiences on sites like WeddingWire The Knot and it's sister sites, ToledoWeddings.com and WeddingChannel.com which will in turn help brides do their homework on the vendors they want to hire, and it also helps us vendors get found by potential brides. At the end of the year, WeddingWire and The Knot also give out their "Best of" awards for local vendors. These awards are also based on reviews and ratings of vendors like myself.
If I have photographed your wedding day, please feel free to write a review of my services. It doesn't matter how recent, or long ago, if you were the bride, groom, or parent of the newlyweds, you can still write a review. Plus you can review your other vendors as well to help them get found, and to tell brides what you really think about their services.
Thank you to all of my happy couples and parents who have already written their reviews and helping me win this prestigious award.
