If I have done your wedding and would like to write a review of our services, please visit Kurt Nielsen Photography on WeddingWire to Write a review for Kurt Nielsen Photography.  It doesn’t matter when I did your wedding.  Reviews from weddings from a long time ago through more recent weddings will show prospective brides and grooms the consistency of my work and customer service.

At the end of each year, WeddingWire (and The Knot) uses all of the reviews and ratings a wedding vendor, like me, receives during that year to determine their Bride’s Choice Awards winners.  They combine the number of reviews with the overall ratings to determine the winners.  Receiving these awards helps the winning companies gain internet exposure and in turn, may help me book more weddings.  Therefore, I wish to thank all of the brides, grooms and mothers who have written reviews for me so far, and thank those of you in advance for writing a review in the future.

Toledo Wedding of Krista and Josh by Kurt Nielsen Photography

Krista and Josh were married on November 13, 2010 surrounded by family and friends at The Pinnacle in Maumee, OH.
And although it was a bit chilly, we did manage to get outside to take pictures on The Pinnacle’s beautiful terrace.
The Pinnacle did an amazing job and the reception was very elegant.
Krista’s mom made the beautiful fall colored flowers for the bouquets and centerpieces.

Josh went to Jared!
Krista and Josh had a beautiful serving platter for their guests to sign, which they will be able to use for years to come.
Krista had some great ideas to make her wedding unique, like the coffee and candles that were used to mark place settings for their guests.  They smelled so good!
All of the guests took home a small box of scented leaf shaped soap, which matched the fall theme of their wedding.
Krista’s dad cried when Krista went to Ohio State, but that didn’t stop her from adding a buckeye touch to the wedding!
The dinner speeches were quite interesting and many stories were told, including how Josh almost blew up his high school science lab! Everyone loved Krista’s dad’s gift to the couple, a book called “Card Games Properly Explained.”
Chad from Ice Creations made an amazing double luge ice sculpture for the reception.  The wedding invitation was in the sculpture!
The wedding cake was beautifully decorated.
Gary from Z-man Sounds provided the musical entertainment for the evening.
We had a great time at the reception with Kurt’s Kustom Keepsakes green screen photo booth!
The guests were so creative!
Congratulations to Krista and Josh!  May you have many happy years together!

Ryan and Amanda, A Real Toledo Wedding by Kurt Nielsen Photography

Ryan and Amanda were married on October 23, 2010 at St. Stephen Church in Toledo.

Before the Wedding, all of the Bridesmaids were very helpful with getting Amanda ready for her big day!

But there are just some things a bride wants to do for herself.

Before the wedding is a great time to do most of the Wedding Party photos, and this day was no different.

Amanda’s dress looked spectacular, and so did the bridesmaids in classic black.

Amanda chose Red and White Roses for her wedding bouquet.

We also were able to do pre-wedding pictures with the groom and his groomsmen.

Everyone always focuses on what the bride is wearing, but what about the groom?  Gotta see his shoes too!

The church was packed with Ryan and Amanda’s family and friends.

Everyone loved their son coming down the aisle in his little red wagon.

The ceremony was a Traditional Catholic wedding ceremony.

And the two became one!

And when it was over, everyone headed outside for the balloon release.

Then it was back inside for the family and wedding party to finish the formal group shots.

We even found this mural on the side of a building near the church and just had to get some portraits in front of it.

Then it was onto the “Land Yacht” from A1 Accurate Limousine.

After showing their son the inside of the Limo, the rest of the wedding party was ready to have a great time!

Then it was on to the Toledo Museum of Art for some incredible photos.

Then it was off to downtown Toledo and the Reflecting Pool behind One Seagate.  Thankfully, the water was gone, which made it easier to get these images because Amanda didn’t have to get wet.

Then it was off to the Wedding Reception at Glass City Boardwalk, where the Black, White and Red themed colors were very prevalent.

You have to like the Ohio State theme that went with the color choice!

Everyone had a great time dancing the night away.

Congratulations Ryan and Amanda!  May you have many happy years together!
