Jenni and Matt had their Toledo Winter Wedding at St. Clement Parish. We started where the bride was getting ready, Tamaron Country Club, in the bridal room. Since the dining room was already set up for the reception, I was able to get a lot of the detail shots as well.
Then it was off to the church for the ceremony followed by the formal wedding party and family photos. After all of the formal wedding portraits were taken, the bridal party hopped into the party bus from Total Image Limousine. I followed in my car as we headed to the groom’s family’s house for some more family photos. Then the wedding party made a pit stop at the local grocery for some refreshments before heading to Downtown Toledo and Middlegrounds Metropark for some romantic and fun bridal party photos.

The Reception

Then it was time to head back to Tamaron Country Club for the reception. Vicky, the catering and events manager, had everything running smoothly when we arrived. The wedding cake from Eston’s Bakery had more of the beautiful flowers from Nest Floral Design Studio that matched the bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets. Craig from The Class Act by Bob Norris kept the music playing and the crowd dancing all night long.

Church Wedding – Inverness Club Reception – Jaclyn and Josh

Jaclyn and Josh were married on June 21, 2014 at Heritage Church of God in Maumee, OH in a traditional ceremony officiated by Pastor Robert L. Fry. The elegant reception was held at Toledo’s very own Inverness Club immediately following the church ceremony. While the guests were making their way to the reception, Josh and Jackie stayed behind to take a few photos with a historical Cadillac at the church and at a barn nearby. These are a few of the images from the church and reception, and of course, some from in between.

Jackie and Josh invested in my Complete Wedding Package which included all day wedding photography and my Kurt’s Kustom Keepsakes green screen photo booth for the entire reception. They chose six different backgrounds for their guests to choose from. Each guest in every picture took home a 4×6 print of each image they were in. Plus, we also made a scrapbook with all of the photo booth images that the guests got to sign and decorate. Jackie and Josh took the scrapbook home that night!

University of Toledo Wedding Reception – Sheri and Mark

University of Toledo Wedding Reception – Sheri and Mark

Sheri and Mark had a small destination wedding in Portland Maine over this year’s Memorial Day Weekend. On June 14th, they had a beautiful day for their University of Toledo wedding reception. It was the very first wedding held at the new Koester Alumni Pavilion on the Sullivan Plaza at the Glass Bowl. The guests were comfortably seated under a tent for dinner, and the hors d’oeuvres and drinks for cocktail hour were located in the pavilion. Their Maine beach style wedding reception included a clam bake and lobster shaped frosted cookies. Decorations included a sketch of the “Plans of Portland” and many of their photos from their wedding ceremony photographer Emily Delamater. They creatively used many items from their own home as decorations. They used an entryway table for the guest book and folding doors to hold the seating cards. The wine that was served was chosen for their wedding during a recent trip to Judd’s Hill Winery in Napa Valley. Here are some photos showing the details of their University of Toledo wedding reception. I arrived early and they were still decorating, so some of the photos show the progression of how things were arranged.

To add to all of the fun, Sheri and Mark also had my Kurt’s Kustom Keepsakes green screen photo booth at their University of Toledo wedding reception! Some of the backgrounds were taken in Maine specifically for their home reception. One was an image of them from their wedding. The guests had so much fun posing with them! We created one of the backgrounds using their stationary logo.

But the best part about having Sheri and Mark’s wedding reception at the Alumni Pavilion was we had access to the Glass Bowl for photos!
