Toledo Wedding of Krista and Josh by Kurt Nielsen Photography

Krista and Josh were married on November 13, 2010 surrounded by family and friends at The Pinnacle in Maumee, OH.
And although it was a bit chilly, we did manage to get outside to take pictures on The Pinnacle’s beautiful terrace.
The Pinnacle did an amazing job and the reception was very elegant.
Krista’s mom made the beautiful fall colored flowers for the bouquets and centerpieces.

Josh went to Jared!
Krista and Josh had a beautiful serving platter for their guests to sign, which they will be able to use for years to come.
Krista had some great ideas to make her wedding unique, like the coffee and candles that were used to mark place settings for their guests.  They smelled so good!
All of the guests took home a small box of scented leaf shaped soap, which matched the fall theme of their wedding.
Krista’s dad cried when Krista went to Ohio State, but that didn’t stop her from adding a buckeye touch to the wedding!
The dinner speeches were quite interesting and many stories were told, including how Josh almost blew up his high school science lab! Everyone loved Krista’s dad’s gift to the couple, a book called “Card Games Properly Explained.”
Chad from Ice Creations made an amazing double luge ice sculpture for the reception.  The wedding invitation was in the sculpture!
The wedding cake was beautifully decorated.
Gary from Z-man Sounds provided the musical entertainment for the evening.
We had a great time at the reception with Kurt’s Kustom Keepsakes green screen photo booth!
The guests were so creative!
Congratulations to Krista and Josh!  May you have many happy years together!
